Homemade Body Wraps and Recipes

It is essential to exfoliate your skin. This way you'll open the pores and eliminate dead cells from your skin.

Your skin will absorb the ingredients more profoundly. Take some blankets or towels and place them layered. These will cover your body during the spa session. Use towels or sheets, however it will be a bit of a problem to get rid of the stains.

Choose the used, old ones. Have some water at hand, it is important to balance the liquid loss. Repeat this ritual once a month to eliminate the toxin build-up in your body.


Herbal Tea Wrap

The ingredients:

- a large bowl
- 1 cup of herbal tea (any kind of chamomile, ginger, lavender)
- 2 towels

Create the proper atmosphere, light candles if you wish. Fill a bowl or a large bucket with warm (not hot) water. Add the cup of herbal tea and let it steep for a few seconds. Dip the towels into the solution, then carefully wrap the towels or sheets around yourself. Lie down on a mat or a special plastic sheet and relax for 10 minutes.

Clay Body Wrap

The ingredients:

- a large bucket
- 3 cups of clay
- 1 cup of salt


Proceed similarly to the earlier ritual. Pour warm water into the bucket, add the salt and let it dissolve. Gradually add the 3 cups of clay while stirring. Finally you'll have a thick paste. Use the blankets or towels and apply the mixture to your body. Enjoy its effects for 10-15 minutes.


Lemon and Honey Body Wrap


The ingredients:

-5 tablespoons of honey
- ½ lemon
- 2 tablespoons of sea salt


This body wrap is effective not only for essential skin care but also for cellulite.
The ingredients will enhance blood circulation. Squeeze the lemon and grate the rind into a bowl.Gradually add this to the 5 tbs of honey, stir the mixture. As the mixture is ready add some sea salt. Finally dip the towel into the lotion and wrap the critical areas with it.
You can wrap your whole body into the solution. Leave it on for 15 minutes.
