Do Your Own French Tip Manicure

Do your own French tip manicure that will always be in style because of it's simplicity and great look. It is appropriate for ant occasions and outfits. Here are some tips to help you do your own French manicure:

The French tip manicure will never go out of style because it's simplicity and classic look.
A French tip manicure is a recognizable style of manicure in which white nail polish is applied on the tip of the nails and the rest of the nails are given a soft pink, light beige color.

Get a French manicure when you are wearing jeans or when wearing a beautiful gown - your nails will look great with any outfit. This type of manicure is appropriate for daytime, nighttime and formal occasions.

To do your own French tip manicure you will need base/top coat, tip guide strips, neutral polish and white polish.
For the neutral colors you can chose from beige, sheer pink, cream or light peach tones.

Start by clipping and filing your nails.
Cut your cuticles or just push them back with an orange stick - a must-have in your manicure kit - than wash and dry your hands completely.
After your nails are dry start applying the base coat and wait for it to dry.

Take the tip guide strips and place them following the curve of your nail.
If you have long nails the white tip can be longer, but on short nails the white tip should be thin.

Apply the white nail polish beginning at the top of the tip guide towards the nail ending.

Remove the guide before the white polish on every nail begins to dry. After the white polish has dried apply two coats of neutral polish.

Wait until the first layer has dried before you start applying the second coat.
After the two layers dried finish by applying the top coat.

Tricks!

If you smudged a bit of nail polish around your cuticles you can remove it by dipping a q-tip in nail polish remover and gently wipe the nail polish off.

You can combine French tip nails with different nail art designs for special occasions.
