The health of our hands and nails is as important as that of our whole body. That's why it is worth pampering them once in a while. The following homemade hand treatment recipes will help you getting soft, hydrated hands without spending huge sums on ingredients.

Castor and Olive Oil Lotion

You can mix this hand lotion in no time! The few ingredients will make it easy to prepare and very soothing for tired hands.

Ingredients:
- 100ml olive oil
- 100ml castor oil
- 1 lemon

- First of all take a bowl and pour the olive and castor oil in it. Then warm up these ingredients.

- Finally squeeze the lemon and add the juice to the mixture. Soak your hands into the lotion for 15 minutes.

- Don't forget to massage them during this, this way you'll help the blood circulation. Finally rinse it off and dry your hands with a gentle, clean towel.


Honey and Orange Juice Lotion

It's an acknowledged fact that honey has miraculous effects on our skin. Why not use this benefit to make our hands smooth and soft.

Ingredients:
- 1 tbs honey
- ½ cup of orange juice

- This is probably one of the easiest recipes. The only thing you have to do is mix these two ingredients in a bowl. Then rub it into your hands and nails, enhancing blood circulation. Leave the lotion on for 10-15 minutes, then wash it off with warm water. Enjoy it's soothing effect.


Honey and Banana Lotion

Again honey! This lotion is recommended to moisturize and treat rough and dry hands. Apply it to your nails for a long-term benefit.

Ingredients:
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 lemon
- 1 banana
- 1 tbs butter

First, take a large bowl, then add the honey, butter and lemon juice. Mash the banana and mix it with the paste.

Finally apply it to your hands, massaging it into the little wrinkles and nails. Leave the lotion on for about 20 minutes, then rinse it off. Repeat it when you feel the need to do it.
