Boise Torride New Fragrance by Guerlain

Expected to be released this year in October, Guerlain’s Boise Torride is one of the most commented fragrances this season. Boisé Torride is the fourth and probably the last fragrance from an exclusive collection signed Guerlain, Elixirs Charnels (Carnal Elixirs), which also includes Gourmand Coquin, Chypre Fatal and Oriental Brûlant.

Described in its ad campaign as "woody, rebellious, provocative, triumphant, bold and beautiful", Boisé Torride successfully completes this series of fragrances.

In tandem with the other Elixirs Charnels, each picking up on a fragrance family in the name: Gourmand, Oriental and Chypre, Boisé Torride couldn’t be a better name, suggesting both its woody origins and its voluptuous smell.

Guerlain’s Boisé Torride top notes include bergamot, tangerine, pink berries, its heart - marshmallow harmony, orange blossom, jasmine, and as base, notes of patchouli, white musk and cedar.

Guerlain’s in-house perfumer Thierry Wasser found his inspiration when creating this fragrance from the French term “boisé”, which is the adjective of “bois” ("wood").

In the common language, it is also quite similar in pronunciation to the word “baiser” (the noun means “kiss”). So try it, you won’t find anything but passion!
