How to Buy a Perfume
To choose the fragrance with matches you, it’s not exactly easy because your choice will be some kind of personal mark, which gives to the people around you, some details of your personality (even as about your erotic behavior).
Go to shopping at the morning – Your nose must be rested; after a day of sniffing anything, it could help you less.
Don’t eat spicy food in the previous evening – Because of the spices, perfumes could seem more intense, after applied on your skin.
Buy it from the perfumer’s shop – Not from different sellers, who promise you original perfume with quarter of price.
Test it properly – Namely, in the zones where the skin is more sensitive. At the articulation of hands (without rubbing the place, because it’s warming up and the fragrance of the perfume changes), behind the ears, on the neck. Coco Chanel said that you must perfume yourself where you like to be kissed, so…not on the clothes or testers. On your skin will smell entirely different.
Be patient – After you pulverize it, wait for just some seconds before you smell it, because it will seem maybe too strong.
It would be the best if you choose a perfume, after you find out all of its notes (top-note, the middle- and the base-note). As much as the perfume is more elaborated, the bases of the perfume are more different. And what would you do if you will like only the top-note? You will perfume yourself non-stop?
The proper perfume at the proper moment – If you want a perfume to wear it at day, choose a toilet water (EDT) and keep the perfume water (EDP) only for the evening. If you prefer a perfume you must buy the other products from the assortment (shower gel, deodorant and body lotion).
Don’t snif more then 3 fragrances – Because our nose is able to differentiate only this much of fragrances. If you smell more, you can’t smell the exact essence and you can risk buying a perfume that you don’t really like.
Watch out for what you’re buying – If you want it to give it as a gift to somebody, ensure that the seller will pack you a sealed box, not a started tester.
